The words I say may come out with the wrong punctuation. Is that possible?--you may ask. Don't people speak with the punctuation they intend, by necessity? No more readily than does the writer in his writing, I say. It's as if my brain comes up with a meaning and the punctuation is lost in translation to the tongue--with much confusion as a result.
