The Anti-Trust Scam

The linked blog-post shows nicely how, in the current case of an antitrust case being brought by the New York Jets against Cablevision, antitrust law serves as a weapon used by one big business against another, for the benefit not of the consumer. It's true that Cablevision is a monopoly in the strict sense, as having a state-granted privilege of exclusive business rights; still, the case seems to demonstrate the sham of anti-trust law. Would I feel differently, if the Jets were not seeking taxpayer funds for the building of the stadium? I'm not entirely sure. Maybe this isn't the ideal case against antitrust..... Oh well.
